Product Description
Engineered at our Jingjiang manufacturing base, our Diesel Hydrotreating Unit Furnace is a specialized high-pressure fired heater designed to elevate blends of straight-run diesel, light cycle oil (LCO), and coker gas oil mixed with high-pressure hydrogen treat gas up to catalytic hydrodesulfurization (HDS) reaction thresholds. Incorporating our 26-year manufacturing pedigree and extensive track record supporting PetroChina and Sinopec refinery clean-fuel upgrades, we construct each Diesel Hydrotreating Unit Furnace to deliver robust defense against High-Temperature Hydrogen Attack (HTHA) and polythionic acid stress corrosion. Featuring heavy-wall stabilized austenitic alloy coils, balanced multi-phase hydraulic pass arrangements, and automated flame-flux control, our heaters maintain tight process temperature bands while keeping coil wall temperatures safely below material metallurgical limits, providing refiners with a dependable heating platform for Euro VI ultra-low sulfur diesel production.

Applications
Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) Production: Heating mixed diesel feed and recycle hydrogen streams from 240°C to 340°C–380°C before entering hydrotreating fixed-bed reactors.
Hydrodearomatization & Cetane Improvement Units: Supplying stable thermal input to saturate polycyclic aromatics and improve diesel cetane numbers.
Product Fractionation Stripper Reboilers: Providing clean, regulated reboil heat to stripper bottoms to drive off dissolved hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and light ends.
Cracked Middle-Distillate Hydrofinishing: Coping with challenging feeds containing olefinic, nitrogenous, and sulfur-rich coker diesel distillates.

Customization Capabilities
Nelson-Curve Compliant Thickness Sizing: Coil wall thicknesses engineered strictly in accordance with API RP 941 curves, incorporating conservative hydrogen partial pressure safety margins.
Anti-Slugging Two-Phase Flow Layouts: Radiant and convection pass geometry optimized to maintain annular mist flow, preventing liquid-gas phase separation, surging, and local tube overheating.
Neutralization Wash Manifolds: Pre-installed wash connections allowing alkaline nitrate neutralization flushing during shutdowns to eliminate polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking (PASCC).
Complete Modular Pre-Assembly: Vertical radiant shells and convection modules fully refractory-lined in-shop with ceramic fiber modules, lowering field welding and scaffolding costs.
Zero MOQ Flexibility: Fabricating individual custom heater units for plant turnarounds as well as multi-unit orders for greenfield refinery blocks.
Quality Control
Certified Quality Standards: Certified under ASME "U" and "S" stamps, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 3834-2 International Welding Quality System.
Component-Level QR Code Traceability: Every alloy tube section, forged high-pressure elbow, support hanger, and nozzle neck carries an individual QR code linked to certified mill test reports and heat treatment records.
100% Volumetric & Surface Inspection: 100% Radiographic Testing (RT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) across all alloy butt welds; 100% Positive Material Identification (PMI) on all incoming and welded metallurgy.
Hydrostatic Pressure Proof: High-pressure hydrostatic proof testing performed in our specialized testing bay at 1.5 times design pressure, using demineralized water with chloride content < 25 ppm.
Ocean Export Packaging: Sealed transport skids with internal mechanical vibration dampening, desiccants, and weatherproof vacuum-barrier wraps.
FAQ
Q: How do you prevent High-Temperature Hydrogen Attack (HTHA) and polythionic acid cracking on hydrotreater coils?
A: We select stabilized grades such as TP321H or TP347H strictly in compliance with API RP 941 guidelines, control weld ferrite content to prevent sigma phase embrittlement, and provide comprehensive shutdown wash-procedure documentation to neutralize acidic surface residues.
Q: What is your standard production lead time for a high-pressure diesel hydrotreating heater?
A: Complete custom heater fabrication typically requires 4 to 5 months from approved engineering drawings and alloy plate/pipe delivery to final pressure testing.
Q: What after-sales and field commissioning support do you provide overseas?
A: We provide dispatch-ready field advisory engineers to guide on-site rigging, refractory dry-out, and pre-commissioning checkout, backed by an 18-month warranty from site arrival or 12 months from commercial operation (whichever occurs first).
Q: What are your accepted payment and commercial terms?
A: We operate under EXW and FOB terms. Our standard commercial terms are 30% advance deposit, 40% manufacturing milestone payment upon core NDT completion, and 30% final balance prior to shipment, payable in USD, EUR, or RMB.
