Core Key Points of Basic Management Basic management is the top-level guarantee for maintenance and upkeep. The core points are:
- Clear Four-Level Responsibility Division: Establish a four-level responsibility system: equipment administrator - workshop director - operator - maintenance personnel. Operators must assume daily inspection responsibilities. Whoever uses it, maintains it, and is responsible for it, avoiding ambiguity of responsibility.
- Compliant Personnel Qualifications: Maintenance personnel must hold corresponding special operation certificates (electrician, welder, etc.). Key positions (blast furnace lining inspection, rolling mill precision calibration) require intermediate or higher skill levels. New employees must pass both theoretical and practical assessments before being allowed to work.
- Complete Equipment File Recording: Completely retain equipment factory data, installation and commissioning records, operating parameters, maintenance/fault history, and inspection reports. Where possible, integrate with an equipment management system to achieve intelligent fault early warning and proactive risk prediction.
Key Points of Daily Maintenance
Daily maintenance is led by operators and runs through the entire production process, focusing on three key aspects:
- Pre-shift Inspection: Perform a full four-step inspection: Visually inspect (for deformation, cracks, and leaks), listen for abnormal noise, touch (motor casing temperature ≤ 60℃), and measure (parameter verification) to check lubrication, electrical safety devices, and auxiliary system parameters. Any abnormalities must be reported immediately; starting the machine with a malfunction is strictly prohibited.
- During Shift: Closely monitor for abnormalities: Focus on monitoring the stability of operating parameters (temperature, vibration, load), and pay attention to abnormalities such as unusual odors, smoke, and increased leakage, as well as changes in product quality (equipment malfunctions often first manifest in the product). If any abnormalities are found, immediately reduce the load and shut down the machine.
- Post-Shift Cleanup: Ensure clear handover after cleaning: Remove dust, scale, and oil from equipment surfaces, shut off water, electricity, and gas, fill out a handover record, clearly mark any unresolved abnormalities, and ensure the next shift is aware of the equipment's status.
