Product Description
Manufactured within our specialized cold-rolling auxiliary equipment workshops in Jingjiang, our Belt Wrapper is an automated coil-threading machine engineered to assist in winding the leading head of thin cold-rolled steel strip onto tension reels and recoilers. Drawing upon 26 years of heavy fabrication experience and serving premier steelmakers including POSCO, Shagang, and Baowu, we construct each Belt Wrapper with heavy welded steel pivot frames, high-strength endless synthetic belts, and precision hydraulic positioning cylinders. By guiding the strip head snugly around the expanding mandrel for 4 to 5 initial wraps at threading speed until coil tension is established, this reliable Belt Wrapper prevents head slippage, eliminates manual handling hazards, and protects sensitive strip surfaces from marking, providing cold-strip rolling mills and finishing lines with an automated coiling-assistance asset.

Applications

Reversing Cold Rolling Mills: Assisting strip head entry onto payoff and tension reels during initial pass threading.

Tandem Cold Rolling Mills (TCM): Guiding thin strip heads onto delivery tension reels at high threading speeds.

Skin-Pass & Temper Mills: Wrapping strip heads onto recoilers after skin-pass elongation.

Continuous Coil Processing Lines: Operating at exit recoilers in galvanizing, tinning, and slitting lines.

Customization Capabilities

Traversing Kinematics Tailoring: Floor-mounted horizontal carriages for clear top access, or compact swing-arm pivots for tight mill exits.

Non-Marking Belt Formulations: Seamless belts engineered with anti-static, non-marking polyurethane surfaces to protect automotive exposed panels and tinplate.

Integrated Deflector & Guide Plates: Auxiliary pneumatic or hydraulic guide flaps that funnel the strip head into the belt nip without dog-earing.

Quick Belt-Change Mechanism: Cantilevered belt-roller support beams that allow belt replacement without dismantling the primary frame.

Zero MOQ Restriction: Custom engineered for reel retrofits or delivered as complete recoiler machine packages.

Quality Control

Manufacturing Accreditations: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 3834-2 welding quality management.

Full Process QR Code Traceability: Structural frames, belt rollers, hydraulic manifolds, and endless belts carry individual QR codes linked to certified inspection records.

Shop Cycling & Pressure Testing: Full factory hydraulic testing verifying carriage travel, cylinder synchronization, and belt tensioning pressure.

Dynamic Balancing: Belt guide rollers undergo dynamic balancing to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5 to ensure vibration-free rotation.

Heavy Ocean Packaging: Bolted steel shipping bases, greased machined ways, moisture barrier wrapping, and protective wooden crating.

FAQ

Q: How does the belt wrapper disengage once coiling tension is established?

A: Once optical sensors or motor current monitors confirm that 4 to 5 wraps have created sufficient friction grip on the mandrel, the hydraulic cylinder retracts the belt carriage to its home position, allowing the tension reel to accelerate up to full line speed.

Q: What is the typical fabrication lead time for a belt wrapper?

A: Production and shop testing typically take 3 to 4 months from drawing sign-off to delivery.

Q: What warranty coverage do you provide?

A: We provide an 18-month warranty from site arrival or 12 months from commercial operation (whichever comes first).

Q: What payment terms are accepted?

A: Standard commercial terms are 30% advance deposit, 40% manufacturing milestone payment, and 30% balance prior to export shipment, payable in USD, EUR, or RMB.
